¹⁴ Whose confidence is fragile,
And whose trust a ^(A)spider’s ^[a]web.
¹⁵ “He ^[b]trusts in his ^(B)house, but it does not stand;
He holds fast to it, but it does not endure.
¹⁶ “He ^[c](C)thrives before the sun,
And his ^(D)shoots spread out over his garden.
